Vice President for Events
Committee Role
The VP for Events oversees and coordinates student-run events at Alcuin College. They chair the Events and Activities Sub-Committee, delegating tasks with social officers.
The position holder directs the college committee's media strategy through channels such as the website, social media and newsletter. They'll work closely with the Social and Marketing officers to ensure a consistent college brand is presented.
The position holder will need to check their emails at least once every 24 hours, or provide notice of when this is not possible.
Please note that due to the demands of this role during Freshers' Week, this position is not suitable for postgraduate students.
