Volunteering Officer

The Volunteering Officer connects students up with volunteering opportunities typically provided by the University, College and YUSU. They may work on encouraging Alcuin students to take up volunteering positions at committee events and activities when required.

The volunteering officer is likely to work closely with the RAG Officer, as volunteering and charitable activities often go hand in hand. An important part of the role is finding opportunities that students can use to try new things, meet new people, and learn new skills.

A position holder would ideally check their email at least once every 48 hours, or provide notice when this is not possible.
