Environment and Ethics Officer
The E&E Officer takes on a responsibility to raise awareness regarding environmental concerns and injustices both within and outside of the college. The position holder may choose to focus on a variety of issues internally within the college, such as recycling and sustainable waste disposal, energy usage, or helping local wildlife thrive.
The E&E Officer represents Alcuin Committee on:
- YUSU Environment and Ethics Network
- Specialist Committees at the University created in response to the Climate Emergency
- Other Committees as requested by the University and/or College
A position holder would be expected to check their emails at least once every 48 hours, or provide notice when this won't be possible.
