Welcome Week 2025 Tickets and Timetable

A Welcome Week ticket includes access to over 20 exclusive College events - that works out at less than £2 per event overall. We're hosting a wide variety of events to ensure there's something for everyone; from relaxing crafter-noons to big club nights out.

We use the money from these tickets to directly cover the cost of hosting these events, such as material costs and venue booking. Your College Committee and STYCs are volunteers who give up their time to organise and run all the events throughout the week.

Contrary to misinformation on social media, the baseline College Welcome Week ticket have been frozen at £37.50 for the last three years; all College committees are working hard to keep tickets as accessible to as many students as possible during recent cost of living pressures.

This includes three additional events hosted by York SU, including a comedy night, bar crawl and Christmas Fight night (see the timetable below). You can buy tickets individually for these events at £1o each, but if you're planning to go to all three, this inclusive ticket will save you a few quid down the line!

Please do not purchase a STYC ticket - these are a special discounted tickets for our "second and third year contact" students who will be giving up their time to support you through Welcome Week!
